Packaging Industry in Singapore has evolved tremendously over time. Packaging Innovations with newer technology improve the process and packing time. However, the primary principle concern of packaging requirements remain constant that is :

Protective Packaging Solutions – The product place in the package will require protection from, among shock impact , vibration impact, electrostatic discharge impact. The packaged product will require cushioning protection from these impacts.

Void Fill Packaging – The product place in the package will require minimum movement of shift during a shipping distribution cycle.

Dimensional Weight – Due to the high cost in transportation, overall package cube size reduction has become  an important factor. Able to reduce the overall cube dimensional of a packaging cost can result in cost saving with reference to air freight charges. This change is with the heavy shift towards E Commerce packaging supplies.

Basic product packaging will use packaging materials like bubble wrap to wrap the product or packing foam peanuts before placing into the corrugated carton box. The package will then be taped with packaging tapes and be ready to be shipped. Other packaging materials will be used if bubble wrap is unable to provide sufficient package protection, that will be paper cushioning, inflatable cushioning or Polyethylene foam.
